Today was a great day with friends. (hence the title…hah)
I woke up around noon again and had some stuff to get done. I began getting ready to leave, doing laundry, putting things in boxes that I’m not taking to TN, etc. I got quite a bit done until around 5:30 when I headed over to Stephanie’s for the hot tub party for Karin. It was a fantastic time with friends, I’m going to miss everyone a lot. 
I really wish I hung out with these guys more in the past…what’s done is done.

We hung out in the hot tub, jumped in the normal pool to cool off, enjoyed good food and music, watched a movie, joked, made shmores (spelling? lol), set off bottle rockets, etc. It was a perfect time, and I got some great photos. I don’t have a lot of pictures with friends because I’m always the guy taking them.
I’m always missing from shots, so it was nice to get in on some this time. It was weird because it was the first time in a while where we all were together and having fun since youth group days when we all were in High School. It was like a reunion, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. It’s a shame Cooper couldn’t be here for the fun, I miss you man

It’s days like today that make me love NY and the people I know in it. Unfortunately there just aren’t any jobs here. I have to move on and settle somewhere else if I hope to have a career…it’s just the way it goes. I’ll be sure to visit home often because I just love these people way too much to just disappear, that would be horrible.
I’m looking forward to saying goodbye to my church family again tomorrow and hopefully spending more time with friends before running home, continuing to pack, cleaning out my car, recording a last Voice Over for Standing Firm, etc. etc.
Monday I leave, *sigh* it’s for the best.
