Cheerios again this morning, yum. I slept a lot better last night, much less tossing and turning. I got to work and started working on things as soon as possible. I worked on a few odd things and sent the recent cut of Book of Ruth to those in charge. Hopefully the film will be done soon. I decided to go home for lunch today and stopped at Subway on my way home. I just felt like getting out of the office to eat. I like the Subway near my apartment. There is a guy that works there that I like chatting with. I’m known as the “New York” guy. I have that trusty Subway card that I got from the Gifford’s (thanks guys!) so that’ll last me for a while. It’ll help me save some money on lunches for a while, that’s for sure.
I have to come into work at about 5-6am tomorrow morning to start color-correction on my next task. There is only one color-correction monitor in the office so I have to come in to use it before Vance gets there later in the morning. At least I’ll get out earlier right? The setup in the office is nice. Basically a MacPro like I’m on now, with dual displays (which I just added), a 17in Panasonic correction monitor, and a Panasonic Plasma like I have at home (still haven’t sold that thing :/ ) hooked up to a Kona card to output the footage from FCP. I’ll hopefully have a similar setup soon. I prefer to own enough hardware to complete projects independently. It’s beneficial for a lot of reasons, and sooner or later I’ll get where I want to on that front. The displays was the next step, with speakers to follow soon.
