One of our Canadian artists, Steve Bell, has done a couple little concerts just in churches, once here in our little hometown and once in Regina (about 225,000 population). The one was about 100 people and the other about 200, for $20 or less either concert. Can't beat that to get to sit in a front row style seat like at a big concert. And he's an excellent musician. We also have an arts council that puts on performances every couple months in a school gym they turned into a performance stage. Again, some excellent musicians, at very good prices.
